How do I apply for the Graduate Training Programme?

Advertisements are normally sent to universities each autumn. Candidates can forward their CVs to the HR department (c.ferguson@nie.co.uk) or you can contact the HR department directly regarding the application method on 02890661100. Completed application forms and/or CVs can be returned to NIE Human Resources, Level 3, Danesfort, Malone Road, Belfast BT9 5HT.

What is the closing date for applications?

The deadline for applications will be specified on the advertisement. However, applicants who forward their CV throughout the year may also be considered for the graduate programmes.

What can Graduates expect?

From day one, you will enjoy a real job, with real responsibilities and challenges. We'll look to you to make clear decisions, take the initiative and manage your own workload, but there'll always be someone on hand to support you in the role of a coach or mentor. In addition graduates can expect a competitive starting salary, with lots of opportunities for learning and development.

How long does the Graduate Training Programme last?

The Graduate Training Programmes can last up to four years.

Will NIE support me if I want to pursue additional qualifications?

NIE encourage professional development and employees are often supported through higher education. Any request for support for further qualification will be reviewed on an individual basis, in line with business needs, individual requirements and career development.
